Revision of the code as merged into my tree (with OpenSSL version checks
removed) on dual E5420 (8 cores at 2.5 GHz), linux-x86-64, gcc 4.5.0:

Benchmarking: zip [32/64]... (8xOMP) DONE
Raw: 3952 c/s real, 492 c/s virtual

At this speed, it'll find some probable password in about 10 seconds...

We really need to do something about the false positives. Perhaps look
for a way to determine if the decryption is correct or not without a
full decompression engine? There got to be patterns beyond the 16-bit
verifier.
