To avoid a possible misunderstanding: the kernel in 3.0-stable should be
exactly the same as -current's.  The only non-trivial thing to do on
this update is editing of CHANGES-3.0-stable (you need to merge several
change descriptions into one).  For kernel.spec, there's no need to
merge the changelog entries - you may just copy the file from -current
as it is.
