Subject: musl 1.0.4 released

This maintenance release brings the 1.0 branch up to date with all
important bug fixes that have been applied to mainline as of 1.1.4.
These include a major logic bug in memmem which yielded both false
negatives and false positives (fixed in 1.1.3), numerous issues that
were specific to mips, powerpc, and microblaze (fixed in 1.1.4), and
various other lower-severity bugs.

Notes on the 1.0 stable series:

This series does not add new features and avoids changes that might
affect building packages against musl or using applications in
environments where they are already known to work. It is intended
mostly for developers targetting a fixed profile of application
software and kernel, such as in embedded development.

For the time being, the 1.0 series will continue to receive important
bug fixes backported from mainline/master, but likely delayed except
in the case of security issues or other critical bugs. Upgrading to
the 1.1 series is recommended if possible.
