I'm not impressed. This is what I'm raging about: Testing: rar, RAR3 (length 5) [SHA1 512/512 AVX512BW 16x AES]... (2xOMP) Too long with no output (exceeded 10m0s): context deadline exceeded This compared with my puny laptop: $ time OMP_NUM_THREAS=2 ../run/john --test=0 --format=rar Will run 16 OpenMP threads Testing: rar, RAR3 (length 5) [SHA1 256/256 AVX2 8x AES]... (16xOMP) PASS real 0m5.038s user 0m54.954s sys 0m0.280s So yes, 5 seconds is *really* slow, but 10 minutes? That is outragingly ridiculous. magnum
