It is supported via PAM. There're PAM modules which authenticate via LDAP. Alternatively, if you want to use LDAP _and_ virtual domains, there's an unofficial patch which is trivial to find with Google (it's one of the first 10 hits when you search for "popa3d openldap"). I do not find its quality adequate for inclusion in popa3d's contrib directory, though. But I strongly recommend against using an LDAP server directly from a POP3 server. This will most definitely make the resulting setup less reliable and, with existing LDAP-related software, also less secure. Most likely, you do not have a good enough reason to do things in this way. Please re-consider. -- Alexander Peslyak <solar@...nwall.com> GPG key ID: B35D3598 fp: 6429 0D7E F130 C13E C929 6447 73C3 A290 B35D 3598 http://www.openwall.com - bringing security into open computing environments
