Subject: Limiting entries in messages and secure syslogs

Hi all,

I'm somewhat new to ipopa3d, but I like what I see so far. I have one
question ...

For each successful pop3 connection to my server, I see three entries in
/var/log/messages:
Feb 11 09:19:15 <host> popa3d[1407]: Authentication passed for <client>
Feb 11 09:19:15 <host> popa3d[1407]: <x> messages (<y> bytes) loaded
Feb 11 09:19:15 <host> popa3d[1407]: <x> (<y>) deleted, 0 (0) left

and one entry in /var/log/secure:
Feb 09:19:15 <host> popa3d[1407]: connect from <nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn>

Since there are about two dozen clients of this server, each connecting
every few minutes, this threatens to overwhelm /var/log/messages and
/var/log/secure with information I don't usually need.

Is there a way to disable these messages, or (better yet) to direct them to
a different syslog file such as /var/log/popa3d?

Thanks!
