Oh, that.  Owl isn't Fedora-based.  Owl pre-dates Fedora.  We use RPM
and old Red Hat's network startup scripts.  We also use Red Hat style
package categories and naming where we can.  We also use many patches
from Red Hat's distros, but not a majority - by my count, Owl-current
has 106 patches from Red Hat's distros out of 845 patches total.

Oh, that should work (with some effort), but would you find the old
versions of software that we have in Owl suitable for your needs?
