Yes, I'm running Owl on AWS.  I also have Citrix XenServer (Xen 4.1)
running multiple Owl VMs.

For Amazon AMI I've used the official Owl kernel as a template and
rebuilt it enabling Xen parts in the configuration.

However, on my XenServer I went with the latest 3.+ kernel series and
built a specific kernel version for Xen.

I'm happy to help with providing my .config (off-list) or to provide some
advice on the configuration if needed.
