We're not going to spend time back-porting SHA-crypt support into the
version of glibc that we currently have in Owl.  So our upcoming release
will lack SHA-crypt support.  Owl-current will gain this support
post-release when we update glibc.

However, John the Ripper will also independently get built-in SHA-crypt
support at some point, which is not in any way related to Owl releases.
