It seems that I have to comment on this nonsense, although I've already
unsubscribed the Yahoo addresses of people who have posted the messages
above (all three of them).

I'd like to apologize to our fellow owl-users for these nonsense
messages that got through to the list.  All of them were posted by list
subscribers (who had joined the list just recently, probably by
mistake).  In case things change to the worse, we will be forced to
make this list pre-moderated even for subscribers.  We already did that
for john-users.

What I really would like to see in here is more discussions between
current and prospective Owl users, on Owl-related topics.  So please go
ahead and post your questions on Owl and share your experience.  (Just
don't do that as a response to this message; each time you post on a new
topic, start a new thread with a new message Subject.)
