You're posting to our mailing list for Owl development, but your
proposed project topics are unrelated to Owl - so this is off-topic for
this mailing list.  That said, since your message is already on this
list, I'll reply in here this time.

It is too early to tell whether Openwall will participate in GSoC 2012
or not, although it is quite possible that we will.

As you probably have noticed, there are currently no anti-phishing and
anti-steganography projects on our ideas list:

You may propose an idea of your own, but frankly it seems unlikely that
we'd be sufficiently interested in working on a project in one of these
two areas.

If you'd like to work with Openwall specifically, your best bet is to
get involved in one of our existing or proposed projects before GSoC.
