Oh, those files are tiny.  Let's just put them into our native tree like
you were going to.

I typically use "--owner=root --group=root" on tarballs that are to be
distributed to others.  Also, let's be including a revision number into
names of "our own" files that we put into pool - e.g., it'd be
iputils-s20101006-manpages-1.tar.gz this time.

However, like I wrote above, this time the files are tiny, so just
commit them into the native tree.
