same es openwrt. but it seems to be related only to kernel 4.1 (or newer)
in 3.18 it does not happen in openwrt

when i'm back home. i will provide this info. but should be the same as 
strings. i wrote also a small test programm which used fopen and outputs 
the content
and its also missing the default gateway
