Looks good to me.
Did it load just one hash or more? It's OK either way, but if it loaded
more than one (which happens when you have multiple files in the archive),
there's room for speedup by focusing it on just one.

Sounds good. It prints its version, revision, and brief build info as
first line of output when you run it with no options. We also have
"--list=build-info" for detailed info output, but this is unnecessary in
our case here - you provided enough detail already.

I currently think you did everything correctly, so you can proceed with
the wordlist and rules.
