For licensing I did modifications to the code and resubmitted it to
ChatGPT in iterations. According to their guidelines it is compatible
with GPLv2+ and they recommend a text similar to this:
This code is my original contribution, written with assistance from
ChatGPT. I am submitting it under the terms of the GPLv2+ license as
required by the John the Ripper project.
