Subject: Extracting the hash of a PDF document-Problem with pdf2john.pl
Dear all,
I will really appreciate to read your advice on the below please,
I am trying to extract the hash of a PDF file using *pdf2john.pl
<http://pdf2john.pl>*, however I am struggling with what to write in the
Command Prompt: I have tried with many options including the following
ones, but none seem to work:
C:\Windows\System32>cd C:\Strawberry
C:\Strawberry>start perl C:\Strawberry\pdf2john.pl LitheUKT.pdf >
LitheUKT-Hash.txt
C:\Strawberry>start perl C:\Strawberry\pdf2john.pl LitheUKT.pdf > hash
As it’s a perl script I installed Strawberry before starting the process.
I put in the same folder (C:\Strawberry) the following:
a) pdf2john.pl
b) The PDF file (LitheUKT.pdf) from which I need to extract the hash
c) The text file in which the extracted hash should be
written/reflected.
I will greatly appreciate if you could please let me know what I am doing
wrong and how I should correct it.
