Subject: Cygwin Compiling Error on Windows 10

Hello All,

When attempting to run ./configure on /john/src in Cygwin on Windows 10 I
get the following error:

$ ./configure
./configure: line 16: $'\r': command not found
./configure: line 31: syntax error near unexpected token newline'
'/configure: line 31: ;;

Then the process quits. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Thank you!
