JFYI, we believe we've fixed this issue for PowerShell in: https://github.com/openwall/john/pull/4373#issuecomment-700311572 The build currently available via the "Download Windows Build" badge in that repo's README.md is supposed to find its OpenCL kernel components fine regardless of which Windows shell you run it from. You might want to confirm that and let us know. Alexander
