No, these two are completely separate projects.

Johnny is a GUI for John the Ripper:

ByePass is a command-line wrapper for John the Ripper:

Johnny provides a maybe-easier way to invoke John the Ripper in basic
ways for those who are uncomfortable using the command-line.

ByePass maybe-helps automate non-trivial usage of John the Ripper by
those who are comfortable using the command-line.

"ByePass" also happens to be the name of a password manager, unrelated
to the ByePass project above and to JtR.  An unfortunate name clash.
