I also added ability to log the date format to screen when running JtR using the --log-stderr command line switch. This date is controlled by a different john.conf variable, so it can be nothing (i.e. commented out), or it can be something different than the date format being logged in the log file. https://github.com/magnumripper/JohnTheRipper/commit/64a93c1ef532d282fa3b2012590da50fe1168f21
