Subject: "linux-ppc64-altivec" target is broken

Solar,

We have this issue on GitHub (although it's a core issue) since 6 months
and it seems Dhiru never reported it here so you might be unaware of it:
https://github.com/magnumripper/JohnTheRipper/issues/386

It seems to be a variant of the Altivec problem that was fixed for ppc32
a year ago or so:

DES_bs_b.c: In function 'DES_bs_crypt_25':
DES_bs_b.c:1180:4: error: invalid parameter combination for AltiVec
intrinsic
DES_bs_b.c:1180:4: error: invalid parameter combination for AltiVec
intrinsic
DES_bs_b.c:1180:4: error: invalid parameter combination for AltiVec
intrinsic
