There sure is. But you need to use a bleeding-jumbo snapshot.

Unfortunately the GPU format lacks auto-tuning. It also doesn't use a 
split kernel yet (someone could fix this, looking at encfs-opencl or 
krb5pa-sha1-opencl - the kernel itself already exist) so it's awfully 
unresponsive.

For weak GPUs, you may need to use a GWS as low as 512 (or system might 
reboot or freeze for a long time). Simplest way is to "export GWS=512" 
before starting job. Other way is to add "dmg_GWS = 512" in john.conf 
under the [Options:OpenCL] section.

Flagship GPUs like HD7970 may use the default GWS of 9K but it will be 
pretty unresponsive.
