Subject: Re: Compiling John for use with AMD Radeon HD 6990

Thanks Sayantan ad magnum for the quick responses! It looks like the amd
sdk was not correctly installed. I reinstalled 'AMD-APP-SDK-v2.8-lnx64' and
$AMDAPPSDKROOT points to /opt/AMDAPP. After reinstalling the SDK and
recompiling, (make linux-x86-64-opencl) benchmark tests do not seem to be
utilizing the GPUs. I am new to compiling JtR - what other typical
troubleshooting steps should I be doing?

magnum - I was not sure if the issues stemmed from not running with sudo if
it was accessing anything restricted. Thanks for the tips.
