Subject: mpirun + john :: How can I hit enter and see the current status?

Hi everyone,

When using john with OpenMP (mpirun + john command) hitting the enter key does not report the current status.

A user on my blog asks me how to fix this problem:
"What setting in this jumbo version do I need to change so I can hit enter and see the current status, time elapsed, c/s guesses, etc?"

To me, this is not a very big deal, as we can access saved sessiosn and request their current status manually. But still, if you use John on many computers, how can you manage that ? Can we use SIGNALs for that?

The question is in the last Sean's comments here: http://blog.thireus.com/john-the-ripped-steak-and-french-fries-with-salt-and-pepper-sauce-for-hungry-password-crackers

Feel free to reply directly to him. I'd really like to know some good and proper solutions too. :)
