john-users - Does restore session parse the configuration file for changes

Subject: Does restore session parse the configuration file for changes

I have noticed a pattern in the passwords that john is recovering and
would like to adjust the min and max lengths to reflect this. If I
stop the current process and adjust the configuration file, will the
process re-read the configuration file and begin using the new values
or do I need to start the process over again using a new session?
