Subject: John test suite.

The test suite for JtR has been updated. Version 1.08 is now out. The test
suite is located here: http://openwall.info/wiki/john/patches It is in
the 'other files' section, and is the first files. It is split up into 2
compressed tarballs, since the wiki does not allow files larger than 10mb,
and compressed this was larger than 10mb.

This version will work properly with john-1.7.8-jumbo8. It should also work
properly with john-1.7.8 (core, non jumbo).

Normally this set of files will be placed into a directory ./test This
would be a sibling directory to ./run where the john exe lives, and ./src
where the source code is built. In john jumbo, you can use the test
suite, by doing this:

make (target)

make test (or make test_full).

In john 'core', you will need to cd into test, and then run ./tstall
This will test all formats in the 'core', except AFS

Jim.
