This is almost certainly not a hash at all, but is some kind of
reversible obfuscation.  We'll need more samples to figure it out -
e.g., for passwords such as:

a
aa
...
aaaaaaaaaa
b
bb
...
bbbbbbbbbb
0
01
...
0123456789
02
013
...

This is of little relevance to John the Ripper, though, except for
confirming that this is indeed not a hash.
