Yes.  0001-v2-reinstate-nCurLine-for-MPI.patch and
0002-Rev-2-Bugfixes-for-stdin-and-pipe.patch combined should fix it:

We have plenty of patches queued for the next -jumbo, as you can see.

I'm sorry that you spent time dealing with a known issue.  Maybe we
should have been quicker to put out a -jumbo-6.

Bugs in -jumbo are normal, though. ;-)
