Well, try an test on LION 1.7.1

Confirmed about the less speed in LION  !

Specialy the DES & not the raw-MD5

I try the OMP_NUM_THREADS=x to try, just for test...but..

Computer = MacBook Pro 2011 / 17' I7 / 8Go / SSD

So, for now, seem the best Alternative for me stay Snow.leo..
