Subject: More Length in Jumbo 5 on Mac

Hi again,

This week i plan to make some tweak & tests & rebuild on jumbo 5 on Mac, i test
many conf's & compliation process until i get " THE TOP VERSION" ( for me...)

OS = Snow Leopard
V : 10.6.8
Compilation choice : macosx--86-64
OpenSSL = OK
OpenMPI=Activated ( both ## removed on MakeFile)

I stay an bit confuse about the fact to push up the ability of John to crack
some hashes uper than 8, ( can be 10, Or 13..or maybe 15 length)

If i refer to this thread = http://www.openwall.com/lists/john-users/2007/07/04/6

I completly understand the area's have to be modified in the file "parameter.h"
before compiling...

But in this thread is refer to Lowercase & i understand that explain can be also
apply to Upercase [A-Z]

My question is ; what to do & modify to make this tweak on all the mode's =
Alpha, Alnum, Lanman (uper_case), Digits, etc..

Cause here only Lowercase, Or UperCase, Or Digits, seem to be affected by this
modification, so what'ts about the other one's ? & how to make this modification
working to all_in_One thweak ?

The plan is to allow John to have the ability in "incremental mode" for sure, to
crack ;

Alhpa
Lanman
Alnum
Digits

In Max 15 Length char's

& for sure by the way ; re_generation of all the "CHR" file trough my POT file (
150 Mo) that part allready understand clearly & working good...

So in my john conf in final i will like to see :

NOTE = i put " ?? " cause didn't no right now the valuse going to come when i
generated the CHR files

[Incremental:All]
File = $JOHN/all.chr
MinLen = 1
MaxLen = 15
CharCount = ??

[Incremental:Alpha]
File = $JOHN/alpha.chr
MinLen = 1
MaxLen = 15
CharCount = ??

[Incremental:Digits]
File = $JOHN/digits.chr
MinLen = 1
MaxLen = 15
CharCount = ??

[Incremental:Alnum]
File = $JOHN/alnum.chr
MinLen = 1
MaxLen = 15
CharCount = ??

[Incremental:LanMan]
File = $JOHN/lanman.chr
MinLen = 0
MaxLen = 15
CharCount = ??

Thanks a lot in advance for your help & support,

Best Regards,

Donovan
