I might pass your feedback on EDPR on to ElcomSoft.

Back to the topic, are you going to participate in the contest?  On your
own or joining the john-users team?  It'd be great to have you aboard!
Specifically, I'd be happy if you take care of Markov mode runs - since
you must be most familiar with it.

Besides submitting the team's cumulative results, I intend to have some
stats on what approaches cracked what portions/kinds of the passwords,
as well as on the overlaps.
