First, as it relates to contributed patches in general, please refer to

Unfortunately, I have not been working on JtR enough since then...

Now, as to Alain Espinosa's NTLM patch, it's actually fairly good and it
satisfies many of my criteria - so I might make an exception for this
one, although it will require some work on my part before I can possibly
release this code as part of a new JtR release.  JtR 1.7.2, which is
still the latest official "development" release, pre-dates that patch.
