Your running a Beta version of Fedora Core 5. The messages shows your missing
  some standard library files to execute a compilation. The two primary files missing
  are STDIO and STDLIB,  plus others. Go back to where you got this version and get all associated library files needed for this version. If you still have compile problems you have until Feb 20th 2006 to report the error. After that only critical bugs will be fixed. Check the preliminary Fedora Core 5 schedule. You'll see these deadlines for reporting bugs in the Beta version you have. The other option is install Fedora Core 4.
