Thanks!  You could want to announce this by posting to the john-users
mailing list, which reaches a lot more people than john-dev does.

I'd be happy to try this out and provide feedback, but unfortunately I
got too little time for John and related tasks lately.

I hope someone else may.  Aleksey maybe, since this functionality is
related to contest challenges (but also real life leak challenges).
