Please limit any discussions of your algorithm to its appropriate thread
here, or GitHub issue or pull request.  This thread I just started here
is for a _different_ algorithm and a different topic of how to implement
it in an external mode and whether we should possibly enhance external
mode support.  What you "replied" with is irrelevant to this thread, and
shouldn't be in here.
