Subject: Katja's weekly report #14
Hello,
Accomplishments:
1. FPGA bcrypt implementation integrated with JtR, it passes self test and
short tests with wordlist
2. Figured out why test on 64-core Epiphany failed
Priorities:
1. Update wiki page
2. Fix bug in FPGA bcrypt (fails self test only on first run)
3. Optimize bcrypt on FPGA
- using dual port RAM works in simulation, implement it successfully
- try using clock frequency higher than 100 MHz
4. Try to get bcrypt on 64-core Epiphany to work
Documentation has the highest priority because GSoC suggested pencils down
date is today and it's suggested to spend the last week writing
documentation and testing code. I'd like to have everything documented for
GSoC final deadline (23rd of September) and I can continue working on other
unfinished tasks after the official deadline.
Best regards,
Katja
