Confirmed that the system sees the full 512 MB, unlike with Parallella's default boot files. I've reverted to Parallella's default boot files for now. Here's a new idea: what about patching one of our HDMI-less bitstreams into Parallella's BOOT.BIN, with dd? I can do that easily. (Just like I've been extracting bitstreams.) Then I can retain the old u-boot and Linux kernel. Sylvain, if I try this, would I need to take your devicetree.dtb? Sylvain, by the way it appears that your u-boot build lacks support for zImage (zboot command, I think), right? So I can't use it to load the original kernel (zImage format) directly, without having figured out and run a mkimage command first. Alexander
