Subject: Katja's weekly report #5
Hello,
Accomplishments:
1. Tried to optimize BF_ROUND - existing code is already optimal, switching
to other approach
2. Integration with JtR works when loading code to cores for each computed
hash (installing new SDK solved "john: e_alloc(): mmap failure" error)
3. Initialization and platform closing moved to init and done functions to
reduce communication overhead but it doesn't work reliably
Priorities:
1. Fix bugs
2. Test bcrypt-parallella format more thoroughly
3. Optimize Epiphany bcrypt implementation - interleave two instances of
bcrypt and make use of Dual-issue scheduling on Epiphany chip
Best regards,
Katja
