But if you prefer to fix the TS when the first real problem occurs with
a future john version introducing an option name which causes the TS to
fail, just let me know, and I'll post a patch which reverts --option= to
-opt:

After all, you are probably more likely to make future changes to the
code than I am, so it should suite your taste.
