When  JOHN_SYSTEMWIDE is 1, it is not that easy, because there are
different locations that are searched for john.conf.

Even with local installations:

$ mv john.conf john.ini

$ ./john --wordlist=password.lst --stdout --rules=x
No wordlist mode rules found in ./john.ini
