Solving the problem with memory.c do not solve the general problem. John continue to crash with a memory access exception (Not SSE) in a general function. I may try to compile john with debug symbols, but i debug programs with VS and i do not know if gcc is compatible. Putting OMP flags solve all problems. Attached gcc warnings and the old and new benchmark in a Celeron 430, 1.8GHz CPU. "relbench" script fails with this two files. saludos, alain View attachment "gcc_warnings.txt" of type "text/plain" (7874 bytes) Download attachment "john32.test" of type "application/octet-stream" (13277 bytes) Download attachment "john64.test" of type "application/octet-stream" (9759 bytes)
