Subject: RE: Issues for my solaris build

John-dev,

I successfully compiled JtR 1.7.8 jumbo-6-RC5 with patches 001-005 on
solaris-x86-64-gcc. It required no modifications.

I used gcc v.4.6.1 and openssl v1.0.0e.

I have put the diff file up on wiki (as 0004) I would feel better if
someone else could validate the patch either helps, or at least does not
hurt their build.

I was not able to build solaris-sparcv9-cc The link fails. This is one
where the SSL version allows the build, but the functions are not found at
link time.

Jim.
