Oh, and this warning seem to be valid:

BTW here's another warning that is just cosmetical but could be 
suppressed while you're at it:
zip2john.c:479:5: warning: format ‘%x’ expects type ‘unsigned int’, but 
argument 2 has type ‘size_t’
