that format is basically NSLDAPS with SSE/SSEi added to it.

This 'set' of formats, and a few others should be reduced to a single format 
at some time (probably next jumbo).  Others which may get reduced are things 
like mssql/mssql-fast, this nsldaps/salted-sha1, and I think there is 
another 'same' pair of formats out there, but it escapes my memory at the 
moment.

The next jumbo will likely have many formats that get reduced to thin ones, 
linked into md5_gen, as long as the thin format runs as fast as it currently 
does (or faster).  I will release this as separate patches, which rename the 
'thick' format to save it, and add the new thin format.  That way, people 
can build a john using them, and make sure it performs with proper speed, 
and still works properly under all conditions.
