Subject: Jumbo-4 RC1 released

I just posted Jumbo-4-RC1 to the wiki. It adds nothing but optional
"fullmpi" to Jumbo-3. This version is still so adamantly conditional
that it does not even bump the version number from Jumbo-3. This in
order to “prove” (to myself, if not for you) that it simply cannot break
anything unless enabling MPI (an md5sum or sha1sum of the non-MPI binary
will be the same as for a Jumbo-3 binary). The soon-to-come “Jumbo 5 RC”
will rearrange a few of the #ifdefs so that some of the features will be
enabled for non-MPI too. From that point, the “sha1sum test” can't be
used anymore. The Jumbo-5 will include UTF-8, auto-formats-list and a
more or less significant boost of performance for a number of formats.
