I think case correction (lm-ntlm pair cracking) is interesting: someone
cracks lm hash and correct password to be a password of paired ntlm
hash. lm hash is not case sensitive so to correct password it is needed
to try different cases for each letter in password. Hence the name is
case correction.

Also it is interesting to investigate what ways was used during
korelogic's contest. Here described what tools was used together with
John: http://contest.korelogic.com/team_john-users.html . May be you
find more information about this contest on the internet.
