This is a program to recover (decrypt) files stored on NTFS (EFS) partitions created under all versions of Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, and Windows Vista. Files are decrypted even when the system is not bootable so you cannot log on, and/or when some encryption keys (private or master) have been tampered with. Besides, decryption is possible even when Windows is protected using SYSKEY.

Professional Edition is able to locate master and private keys in deleted files, and often also on re-formatted disks and overwritten Windows installs, scanning the disk sector-by-sector and using patterns to locate the keys.
