Myself would prefer FreeS/WAN since that is IPsec, and CIPE is more to 
be considered "homebrew".

Note: I dont have any grudge against CIPE at all, but with FreeS/WAN I 
can talk IPsec to routers, firewalls and all.. Something I cannot do 
with CIPE.
