Can you try these? -

/usr/bin/time ../AIXtest '{ssha512}64$................$'
/usr/bin/time ../AIXtest '{ssha512}65$................$'
/usr/bin/time ../AIXtest '{ssha512}32$................$'
/usr/bin/time ../AIXtest '{ssha512}33$................$'

... and ditto for ssha256 and ssha1.

Also, when you compiled AIXtest.c, did you have to link it against any
libraries, and which ones?  Were there any compiler warnings (e.g. about
crypt() not being defined by the #include's in magnum's AIXtest.c)?
