Subject: Salted MD5 cracking problems

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1

Hi all,

Currently we do not have any solution to brute MD5(salt.pass) hashes.
ighashgpu and oclHashcat can't do that (on high speed) by following
reasons:

1. http://hashcat.net/forum/thread-1437.html
2. http://www.golubev.com/files/ighashgpu/readme.htm
> "First 4 symbols cannot be masked."

Only one way to brute is using EGB http://www.insidepro.com/eng/egb.shtml.
But only for Nvidia.
I'm have HD6990 ;)

Look forward to an internal (dev) version of the john.
